Dark mode and mouse controls

August 22, 2026

• Adds a dark mode. Switch it in the About panel, and the choice is saved with the session.
• Double-click the readout to type a value.
• Cmd-click, or Ctrl-click on Windows, returns the gain to exactly 0 dB.
• Hold the same key and drag or scroll to move in steps of 0.1 dB.
• Fixes a plain double-click resetting the gain to 0 dB.
• No change to the audio path.

14-day trials

You can try V-Drive, Causa and Spectra for 14 days before you buy. The trial button is on each product page. It goes into the cart the same way a purchase does, and the installers come by email.

There is nothing to activate. Each plug-in counts its own 14 days, so you get no licence file and you have nothing to cancel.

Pane and SpectraVU are free, so they have no trial.

You can buy the plug-ins here now. Your licence is emailed as soon as the payment goes through, usually within a few seconds.

The plug-in checks the licence on your own machine. You do not need an account, and you do not need to be online once it is installed.

Your licences and installers stay on MYPAGE, and the download links in your email keep working.

V-Drive, Causa, Spectra, SpectraVU and Pane are out at 1.0.0, for macOS and Windows.

The macOS packages are universal builds, signed and notarised. They need macOS 12.0 or later.

On Windows, Spectra and SpectraVU ship as VST3 and CLAP. Their standalone applications come in a later release.
